Team Facilitation

A LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator who turns building blocks into breakthroughs

Every LEGO® Serious Play® workshop I lead is a hands-on, interactive session where your team builds shared meaning literally, surfacing values, communication patterns, and ideas that traditional workshops rarely reach.

The Method

What a LEGO® Serious Play® workshop actually looks like

LEGO® Serious Play® is a facilitation method that uses hands-on building to help people think, communicate, and problem-solve differently than they would in a typical conversation or slide deck. Every participant builds their own model, which means every voice is in the room, not just the loudest one.

01
Build

Each person builds a model in response to a prompt, working with their hands before they speak.

02
Share

Everyone shares the meaning behind their model. No skipping, no "I'll pass," every voice is heard.

03
Reflect

The group connects the individual models into shared insight, alignment, and next steps.

WORKSHOP OPTIONS

Multiple ways to bring LEGO® Serious Play® to your team

Every LEGO® Serious Play® workshop is customized to your team, but these two workshops cover the challenges I'm asked about often.

Workshop

Team Values & Vision

A hands-on, creative facilitation session where your team builds shared meaning, literally. Using LEGO® models to surface values, align around vision, and unlock conversations that traditional workshops can't reach.

Workshop

Communication & Conflict Styles

Explore how your team members naturally communicate, process information, and navigate disagreement, then build a shared playbook for working through tension productively, moving from avoidance to honest, constructive dialogue.

Workshop

Build a Custom Experience

Every team is different. I frequently combine LEGO® Serious Play® with assessments such as CliftonStrengths®, The Working Genius®, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) to create highly interactive workshops that help teams turn assessment insights into meaningful conversations, stronger collaboration, and practical action.

Why it works

Why building beats another conversation about alignment

Every voice builds

Because everyone builds their own model, quieter team members contribute just as much as the most vocal person in the room.

Shared language, not just shared notes

Teams leave with a concrete, shared metaphor for their values or dynamics, not just a page of notes nobody reopens.

Hands surface what words don’t

Building forces people to externalize half-formed ideas, often surfacing insights a straightforward discussion never would.

Structured, not chaotic

The process is facilitated step by step, so the creativity has a clear container instead of turning into an unfocused free-for-all.
